Drive, Chip and Putt

Saturday, 18 February 2006

 

All participants will receive Booth/Ringgenberg Trophy participation points.

Scoring System:

Drive Station

  • Player hits two drives
  • The longest of the two will be their score
  • Only drives “in play" count

Chip Station

  • Each player hits three chips
  • Points are awarded for each chip based on how close it is to the hole
  • Total up points from all three chips

Putt Station

 

Hole # 1 (5 foot putt)

  • Record the number putts taken

Hole # 2 (15 foot putt)

  • Measure the distance from the cup after the first putt and record distance
  • Record the number of putts taken

Overall Score

  • Each player is given a score based on how they finish in each event
  • Total up the three events
  • Player with the lowest score wins
  • * Putting standings used as tie-breaker

Point System:

1st Place = 1 point

2nd Place = 2 points

3rd Place = 3 points

4th Place = 4 points

ETC.
